Rock climbing, mountaineering in Armenia

Armenia is a small and mountainous country. It is located in southern part of Caucasus between Caspian and Black seas. The landscape of this country is very diverse, from deserts to alpine territories. The variety of Armenian landscapes creates good conditions for all types of tourism and particularly rock climbing. The most favorite routes of local climbers are located near Areni village and Noravank canyon. Armenia has a huge potencial for growing in this direction.
