In the Aghitu village of the Syunik’s district, a 6th century grave-obelisk has been preserved. Above the vaulted tomb two rectangular pillars rise, and in the center a high octagonal column richly decorated. Various parts of the obelisk are decorated with pomegranate, grape and other herbal ornaments.
