The Deghdznut monastery of 12-13cc. is located nearby Kirants (Getashen) village of the Tavush district, in the middle of a forest approx. 15km to the south-eastern portion. The whole complex consists of a church with vestibule and a chapel. Around the complex are the ruins of the dwellings and an old cemetery. The church is made from shaved, dark pink tuff and it has the «vaulted hall» composition. From both sides of the apse there are two-storey entrances, which have door-ways from the altar leading to the second storey. The walls have rich ornamentation from the outside (with arch-like raw-sequence). The vestibule was built from the same material and has almost a square-like scheme. It also has inscriptions of donations dating back to 13th century.
