The church of Surb Astvatzatzin (Holy Virgin) flaunts at the heights of the Nork. As well as many other monuments of architecture, it has been badly damaged by an earthquake in 1679, but even half-destructed, in days of celebration of Sacred Maria it was visited by numerous pilgrims not only from the Nork, but also from other areas of Armenia.
In 1991-1995 the church has been restored.
